Benefits of Membership

Representation

CSAANYS works with the NYS Education Department, the NYS Catholic Conference, and the NYS Conference of Catholic School Superintendents to formulate priorities of interest to our schools. On the national level, CSAANYS interests are brought to the US Catholic Conference and the NCEA.

Consultations

Have a question? CSAANYS staff promises timely, accurate answers to your questions and concerns. In addition, we will send you supportive material to help you make your important decisions. Legislative Updates Pending legislation, calls for action and explanation of laws affecting our schools are included in frequent updates to our members.

Newsletter

CSAANYS members receive a monthly newsletter filled with information and suggestions of interest and necessity to busy school administrators. In addition, the CSAANYS web site contains timely updates and lists administrative openings all over New York State.

Membership Directory

CSAANYS provides all of its members with an online membership directory, which is updated annually. This way, members can keep in touch with colleagues, and network for information and expertise.

Print Resources

Occasionally, CSAANYS publishes pamphlets and other materials for distribution to various groups. These are always available to members at discounted prices.

Annual Meeting

CSAANYS hosts an annual gathering featuring a nationally known speaker. We also co-sponsor the Nonpublic School Administrators' Conference.

Workshops and Retreats

One of the most valuable services available to CSAANYS members is a complete menu of workshops and retreats geared toward a variety of audiences. Teachers, boards, parents and other administrators have gained from these presentations and retreats.

Research Reports

Frequent reports on topics ranging from home schooling to copyright law to charter schools and dual enrollment keep members informed on matters of interest.
