His 25-year career in Catholic education began in 1994, serving at his high school alma mater for two years before moving to Syracuse, New York. In Upstate New York, Chris made a name for himself as a speaker, workshop presenter, and advisor to several K-12 schools. In that period, he published two books on the topics of peer ministry and adolescent spirituality. In 2003, Chris was asked to become the founding principal of Rome Catholic School in Rome, NY, and 5 years later was appointed Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Syracuse. On July 1, 2013, Chris was appointed Secretary of Education and Chief Operating Officer for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. In 2016, Chris was appointed to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on Education, where he worked closely with cardinals, bishops, and leaders across the country to improve the mission of Catholic education.

In September of 2018, Chris assumed the duties of Chief Executive Officer at West Chester University’s Foundation. Chris immediately began a culture transformation, establishing a new mission, vision and set of core values with his universal employees. Additionally, he worked to improve the governance function of the board, the relationship with the University, the confidence of the donors, and the retention of employees.

​Christine E. Glynn from Babylon, NY is now serving as the Principal of St. Patrick School in Bay Shore. She began her leadership role in Bay Shore in 2022. Prior to her principalship Christine taught Religious Education at St. Francis Preparatory School in Fresh Meadows, Queens since 2018. As a faculty member at SFP Christine filled many facets of the school as the Franciscan Youth Coordinator and Yearbook Adviser. She was brought to teaching after receiving her BA in Theology & Religious Studies from The Catholic University of America. She has also received a Master’s of Arts degree in Historical Theology and Masters of Science in School Building Leadership from St. John’s University. Her studies began at St. Mary’s in East Islip as a child and were enriched by her high school years at St. John the Baptist in West Islip. Christine’s leadership is grounded in her faith and driven by her dedication to enriching the lives of her students. She is passionate about her Franciscan values, missionary work, and family unity. Students know her as a close lover, coach, and mentor.

With 25 years of experience in Catholic education, I began my career in 1998 at St. Pius X School in Londonville, NY, where I served in a variety of roles over the years, including classroom teacher, remedial reading specialist, and assistant principal. These experiences gave me a strong foundation in both instruction and leadership. In 2016, I accepted the position of Principal at St. Judge the Apostle School in Wynantskill, NY, where I had the opportunity to further develop my administrative skills and lead a school community. In 2020, I returned to St. Pius X School as Principal, bringing with me a broader perspective and renewed commitment to fostering academic excellence and a supportive learning environment.
